Revitalizing Historic Downtown Fredonia
Main Street Studios was created after comprehensive interior renovations of the warehouse at 50 West Main Street in Fredonia, NY. The Studios are a community and entertainment hub. The red bricks that were laid in 1933 now enjoy live theater, film, music concerts, dance, and other activities.
This tri-level warehouse was once home to the Card Seed Company, but had been vacant since the 1980s. The space has been transformed through a partnership with the Village of Fredonia and a generous grant from New York State Homes and Community Renewal.
Renovations adapted the facility into a basement café, first floor performance and entertainment venue, and second floor classrooms for acting, yoga, dance and martial arts.
The Studios host year-round community events, increase tourism, and have created additional jobs in Chautauqua County. We aim to foster business development, promote greater economic activity, and assist the area’s mission to revitalize western New York State.
